Fundraiser Wrap Up and Link to Register

We are finishing up our All School Fundraiser and celebrated with our Badger Bash today!
Over 80% of our students have registered with PledgeStar and worked to raise money for the school!

 What is the Badger Bash?
Our biggest fundraiser of the year! Students collect flat donations from family, friends,
neighbors, and businesses to support the PTO yearly budget.

Your support funds extra field trips, assemblies, and teacher boost-ups that directl
benefit Pine Creek students, staff, and teachers all year long. Every child benefits when you
give!

 Goal: $55,000
Progress so far- $50,000!

How to Get Donations
1. Register at pledgestar.com/pinecreek.
Even if you registered last year, you must register again this year. Registration is
FREE, and every student earns a prize just for registering!
2. Create your child’s fundraising page.
It only takes a few minutes to set up. Family and friends can donate online, and a
thank-you note will automatically be sent to them.
3. Collect offline donations (optional).
Cash and check donations (payable to Pine Creek PTO) can be recorded on the
attached paper form and returned to the school office, Attention PTO.

Preschool Peer Model

Would you like your child to be a peer model in preschool next year?
The BPS preschool program is held at Anchor Pointe Elementary School. Our program serves students on a 50/50 basis, meaning 50% of the students in each class have an Individualized Education Plan (they qualify as a student with a disability). The other 50% of our students are considered peer role models and do not have identified special education needs.

How to Apply
On October 1st, visit the Early Childhood Website for information about how to apply for preschool peer screenings.

BUILDING LOGISTICS

School Communication

Pine Creek Elementary wants to be connected to our community! We will be communicating important school news through a weekly newsletter, Badger Beat. The Badger Beat will be emailed out weekly and will be your source for schoolwide dates and events. Classroom teachers will also send emails to class groups or share newsletters via ParentSquare. We invite you to follow the Pine Creek PTO Facebook page for news and events related to Pine Creek.

Please be sure to add adellwo@bennps.org, myeakel@bennps.org, and epeterson@bennps.org to your contacts list to ensure reliable delivery of school emails.

Birthday Celebrations at School

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
We ask that all party invitations be mailed to students rather than distributed at school. Special deliveries, such as flowers or balloons, will be held in the office until late afternoon. Students will be notified to come and pick them up before dismissal.

CLASSROOM TREATS
All food items distributed at school must be made in kitchens that are state licensed for food preparation. If you wish to provide treats, the following suggestions may help: individual packaged items, bakery items from a local grocery store, pre-packaged crackers, non-food items, etc.

Please be aware and considerate of student food allergies such as those towards peanuts and tree nuts. We ask you to prearrange treats with the classroom teacher so alternative treats may be offered to those unable to participate. Treats will only be distributed to those students and staff in their assigned classroom.

Community Youth Activities and Events
