You can submit student absences through ParentVue! See Below for more information

ParentVUE Absence Submission:

ParentVUE allows parents to submit attendance for students.  This is found in the “Attendance” section of your ParentVUE account. Once in “Attendance,” you will see a calendar view of your child’s attendance summary.  To report an absence, click the blue “Report Absence” button on the top right of your screen.

The "Report Absence" window will pop-up and can be completed in four easy steps:
  1. Input the Type of Absence: all day, late arrival, leave early, or classes
  2. Select the Start Date and End Date
  3. Select A Reason:
  4. “Absent” is for a reason that is not medical.
  5. “Doctor Note” is for when Doctor’s Note will be turned into the office.
  6. “Illness” is for an ill student that you do not plan to see a Doctor.
  7. A Note is critical!  We will apply the correct reporting code to the absence once a reason is known. Please be aware:
  8. “Absent” with no further information will be entered under Unexcused, but providing a reason may qualify the absence as Excused.  This is the purpose of the Note section.
  9. “Doctor Note” can only be excused by the Doctor when the Doctor’s Note is received in the office.  If you select this code, you still need to bring a note to the office.

-----------------------
Pine Creek offers a variety of after school clubs for students in grades 2 through 5. Each club is designated for specific grade levels and may have a limited number of participants. Students must be promptly picked up after the club ends or dropped off if the club meets before school. Clubs will begin on September 8th. BUILDING LOGISTICS

School Communication

Pine Creek Elementary wants to be connected to our community! We will be communicating important school news through a weekly newsletter, Badger Beat. The Badger Beat will be emailed out weekly and will be your source for schoolwide dates and events. Classroom teachers will also send emails to class groups or share newsletters via ParentSquare. We invite you to follow the Pine Creek PTO Facebook page for news and events related to Pine Creek.

Please be sure to add adellwo@bennps.org, myeakel@bennps.org, and epeterson@bennps.org to your contacts list to ensure reliable delivery of school emails.

Birthday Celebrations at School

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
We ask that all party invitations be mailed to students rather than distributed at school. Special deliveries, such as flowers or balloons, will be held in the office until late afternoon. Students will be notified to come and pick them up before dismissal.

CLASSROOM TREATS
All food items distributed at school must be made in kitchens that are state licensed for food preparation. If you wish to provide treats, the following suggestions may help: individual packaged items, bakery items from a local grocery store, pre-packaged crackers, non-food items, etc.

Please be aware and considerate of student food allergies such as those towards peanuts and tree nuts. We ask you to prearrange treats with the classroom teacher so alternative treats may be offered to those unable to participate. Treats will only be distributed to those students and staff in their assigned classroom.
